Why I wrote this book…
When I originally wrote a business plan to raise venture capital, I really had no idea on how to accomplish this task. So, like many entrepreneurs, I purchased several “business plan” books that tell you what should go into a “text book” business plan. None of these same books provide the entrepreneur any insights to the theory, processes and methodologies for developing an investor focused business plan. Hence, upon reading these business planning books, the entrepreneur is still very much in the dark as to what business planning is, how to take the results of your business planning activities and roll them into a complete business plan and then use the proper process and methodologies to then approach venture capitalists and other third party funding sources. This book addresses all of these issues and provides the entrepreneur with all of the processes and methodologies on how to engage, focus and complete the funding process.
